Notification of City of Manhattan Ordinance Number 7462, Right-of-Way Permit Program

On November 19, 2019, the City of Manhattan Governing Body passed Ordinance Number 7462 (PDF). The purpose is to create a registration and permit process for facilities that impact vehicular or pedestrian traffic or require excavation of the City Rights-of-Way. Effective October 1, 2020, the City will implement this ordinance through a required permit program. This ordinance assists the City of Manhattan in monitoring work within the City's Right-of-Way and ensuring the work does not damage City infrastructure.
